Ella is 19 and based in Melbourne. She first met the 8 cast members of the Future Council documentary when the film premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) last year.

When Ella was 12 she started organising the School Strikes 4 Climate in Melbourne, since then she has represented Australia as the Youth delegate at Pre-COP 26 in Milan and has been engaged across local, national and international climate campaigns. She also helped lead the launch of the Make it 16 campaign here in Australia, calling to lower the voting age to 16.
