Future Council has partnered with REGEN TRUST.

Children and young people deserve influence over where funds flow, which real-life initiatives get support, and an early window into the careers and disciplines that matter for their future, such as climate science, biodiversity conservation, impact philanthropy.

This year, a group of 10 to 15 Future Council members aged 9 to 16 will lead the selection of a dedicated £20,000 Regen Trust grant. They will learn about the projects we fund, question and shortlist real initiatives, and choose the recipient - supported throughout by Future Council's adult team and our own advisory board.

Future Council is a global, child-led movement of young researchers, designers, and advisers working on the most pressing environmental and social challenges of our time.

Through this opportunity Future Council members will:

• Learn how nature repair also benefits communities of people and other living things
• Help find projects that would benefit from the money
• ⁠Meet the people from the eligible projects
• Vote on where the money will be allocated
• Learn how grant making and philanthropy works
• Report back to the wider Future Council members on the experience and the benefits
• Learn about the many exciting and hopeful projects that are currently happening around the world
