She first met the 8 cast members of the Future Council documentary when the film premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) last year. \n\nWhen Ella was 12 she started organising the School Strikes 4 Climate in Melbourne, since then she has represented Australia as the Youth delegate at Pre-COP 26 in Milan and has been engaged across local, national and international climate campaigns. Thank you to Joaquin Minana for cohosting, Aventine for his thoughtful presentation and Scott David for his expertise on AI and the environment. \n\nIn these turbulent times, learning and sharing with the Future Council gives me much hope and I love seeing the interest and excellent ideas from all the members. \n\nIt was once again a lovely opportunity to connect with so many and a powerful moment to build on. \n\n March Global Meet Up Recap ✉️\nIn our March meet up, cohosted by Joaquin, we heard from expert Scott David on AI and its complexities. There were many questions and I am sure this is a topic we will return to as there is just so much to discuss and learn about. \n\nIt was excellent to hear from Future Council member Aventine as he passionately spoke about the climate impacts and benefits of the many species of ants. I look forward to welcoming members to share about their personal interests, so please do reach out! \n\nIf there are experts you are interested in hearing from, let us know in the conversation page! \n\n**Exciting News**\n\nOver the past few months we have been busy working on building connections, creations and thinking big on the future of opportunities for members. We are currently working on a pilot design program for out of school care and two schools. I am very excited to see what is designed in these pilot programs and how we bring this to all members.
